Patricia studied fine art at the Story Institute (at the time the annexe of the University of Central Lancashire) and graduated with honours in 1980. Since then her paintings have been widely exhibited throughout the UK - including the Storey Gallery in Lancaster, the Colours Gallery in Edinburgh and Rainbow Galleries in London. In 2004 she represented artists from the North West of England in the Summer Exhibition in Ornkoldsvik, Sweden. Her paintings are held in private collections in the UK America and Australia.
Patricia taught at Lancaster and Morecambe College and the Adult College, Lancaster and Alston Hall, Longridge for over twenty years. She now gives talks to social groups and runs workshops for artists associations.
The town skies and landscapes of the North West inspire much of Patricia's paintings, distinctive for their light and colour and expressive style.
